update...

We have had alot happen in just a month, I just can't believe it! Our camera is broken, so pictures are slim to none, because i have to take them with my phone. Anyway, our darling Adriane has started school! She is in the morning class, and her teacher is Mrs. Norton. We were so lucky to get her, and Adrie is just having a blast. I love taking her to school every morning and watching her run so fast with her giant backpack bouncing around on her back. She likes to pack it with the funniest things too, like the first day she took 5 bottles of water in case she got thirsty, the next day she took a straw cup because 5 bottles of water was too heavy, and then the next day she took a bag of doughnuts. She just cracks me up.
Samantha is doing preschool at home with me, (sometimes we just go to the brew store, because she already knows her colors, shapes, numbers, and letters).
Little Darryl hit a milestone this last week as well...he is mobile! He started crawling on Friday, and every time i put him down, he gets a little bit better. he is crawling like a champ now!
Chris has just left to go to SFAS (special forces assesment and selection). he has been training all year for this and i hope it pays off. He has to be gone for 3 weeks of torture and brutality. They are testing physical and mental stamina for any signs of weakness, and I know alot of men break under the pressure, I am really nervous for him, I hope he does really well. I know he will be sore when he gets home. Other that, I think we are caught up...

we had a way fun week at the EC fair this year...first we went up to see the pagent, (which is still the same thing every year, but we still love it) and then we went for 3 days in a row and did just about everything that we could. The girls and Chris were in the parade, while Darryl myself and Grandma Laurie watched. The girls got their faces painted 2 days in a row, we had a few navajo tacos, a lot of corn on the cob...and i won $17.oo! Chris also got a chance to play "minute to win it" but he had a little trouble with the cup stacking game. The funniest part was the hypno hick. he was so so funny, and one of the people hypnotized sat on Chris's lap acting like a puppy, and then tried to kiss him...but then i turned around and there was one on Samantha too!! She was in the stroller at the time, and she jumped off super fast and hid underneath in the little basket!

funny times!

This month Chris and a couple of his friends decided to try the triathalon in huntington...so we woke up super early...and went to watch. They didn't do as well as they had hoped, but they still did way awesome! Chris had one of the fastest running times of everyone, and we are super proud of him!!! hopefully they will do better next year. it was so funny because sammy and little darryl fell asleep during the whole thing and adrie found a bunch of kids her age to play with. they didn't even see chris come across the finish line...

we had such a fun time this week, we had to take Adrie up to a Dr. appointment, so we ended up getting a hotel room, and having a blast! we swam in their pool(which was just as cold as jumping in the lake) and the next day after the doc, we went to the zoo. it was such a hot day, and we were there right in the middle of the day but we had a blast!

a lot has happened since the last time i posted...

here i am sitting on a Sunday afternoon with a little time on my hands, so i thought that i would update because it has been quite a while since the last time. Here is a little of the things that are keeping our lives busy, and full of fun, and happiness...

little brother got RSV during the month of May, and it was hard because we had to do breathing treatments and different meds every 4 hours. the only way that i could keep it all straight was by having Chris program my phone to have reminders for every time and different medicine. we are so glad that its behind us now.

the girls had their dance recital in May as well and they were so so so cute! they hated the actual dance class and they never wanted to go, but they were so cute and they actually danced when it was their turn.

Chris has been taking the girls on fun little fishing trips, and they absolutely love it! This particular trip was up at Scofield.
Chris also took the girls camping with his friend Brian and his family. they went down to wild horse canyon, and hiked through. they came back so dirty and so tired, but they had a really good time.
We also had a bunch of birthdays right in a row, starting with Daddy, then Grandma Laurie, then Sammy!!! She turned 4, and we had a really fun time at the pool!

Darryl's Baby Blessing

We had a great time today. All of our families came for Darryl's Blessing, and then we had dinner at our house after. its amazing how fast our families are growing! there were so many little ones around it seemed like everyone had someone to play with. We are so lucky that we all live so close to one another And we are so happy that Chris's brother Troy and his family came from Ephraim, and my sister came from Cedar City. It was really nice to see everyone!!!!!

so we had an incident...

Adrie found some gum that i had, and she ended up with a huge piece of it stuck in her hair, and she wouldn't let me even see it for several days, and then finally she let me look. it was almost all of her hair caught in this piece of gum by now, so i asked her what she wanted to do, try peanut butter and a comb or just cut it, and she says, "will it hurt to comb it?" and i said probably, and so she thinks for a minute and says, "just cut it mom." so we cut it off, and she loves her new haircut.

Our newest addition...

We have been so busy with our new baby boy, that I haven't even posted any pictures yet. We welcomed baby Darryl to our family, on January 27, 2010. After two full days of labor, and falling down in the hospital parking lot, he came, happy and healthy at 9:04 pm. He weighed
7 lbs. 04 oz. and he was 20 1/2 inches long. He is growing so fast and will soon out grow his newborn baby satus. I am really enjoying 3 kids, even though my mom has been extreemly helpful so I haven't really had to go at it alone yet. We will post some more pictures soon.
