This girl likes dirt...

Adrie has always liked dirt and water, so what is more natural than putting them together. She was having the time of her life at grandpa's house, and she dug a huge hole and made a mud hole right where he had just planted his potatoes...ooops!!! Sorry Grandpa! She was so covered in mud that she ditched her clothes and just played in her underwear...what a mess, but it was so funny!

My silly dog Max...

Max is so funny sometimes! He loves to run and play, but especially if it is HIGH ENERGY!!! He is so weird because he hates men...it took him days to finally quit growling at Chris and let Chris even touch him. But on the other hand, he is my little shadow. He won't even let me go to the bathroom by myself! Talk about a watch dog!!! Max loves to be loved and he loves it when someone gives him all their attention. The other funny thing about Max is that he loves to ride 4-wheelers and lawn mowers, and pretty much anything with a motor that will go reasonably faster than he can run. What a silly dog!!! But I love him!

My little girls are swimmers...

It seems like as soon as summer comes, Adrie and Sammy practically live in their bathing suits. Every day rain or shine, they want to "swim" even if it is in the bathtub. They especially love to go to the pool with their life jackets. But even if they are only running through the sprinkler, they just love it. Yesturday, we put out the slip n slide, and what a fun time they had! Max (our dog) loved it too! He would chase them with his toungue hanging out and barking and jumping...it was really quite a sight with all of them running and running. They even talked me into sliding too, and wouldn't you know, I forgot all about the poor cell phone in my pocket! It went a little funny for a while but it is back to almost normal...I hope. But I was thinking to myself, what a fun memory for us. There is nothing like playing in the water!!!!

Samantha is such a little sweetheart. She is so tenderhearted, and sweet. But if you get her mad, she will fight back. She is also a little comic. She loves to dance and sing. At some point of the day you can hear her singing as she is in the potty, or when she is concentrating on something. She sings to her dollies and stuffed animals and it is so cute! If you ask Sammy how old she is she says "tiny" and then says "see, I am little."

Mornings are my craziest times. It seems that as hard as I try, it always seems like utter caos. My daughter Adrie is just NOT a morning person. She is a grizzly bear every time she wakes up. I think that is alot of the reason that we don't have naps anymore. She is so funny because she is always the first one awake...go figure. She is so much like her daddy that it is scarry. But other than her distaste of waking up and talking with other people, she is absolutly adorable. The way that she talks just cracks me up! She uses lots of big words like, actually, probably, irritating, fantastic, and instantly. But the really funny thing is that she really knows what they mean! It is the funniest thing when a four year old tells you that her younger sister is irritating her. Adrie is a really good swimmer too. She loves to swim in the `deep' part of the pool. She is so cute in her life jacket that she always has to wear. She has loved the water ever since she was born. She has never once cried during a bath. She is my little smart girl. Four going on twenty it seems like.

Our dogs just had puppies about three weeks ago, and they are just getting their eyes open. They are so cute with their little baby eyes! Jessie is such a good mom to them, but with Adrie and Sammy aroud I am sure she is more than nervous.

This is just the begining...

I am new at this, but I will give it a try...
